Do you already have your mandatory Food Waste Prevention Plan in place?
European Directives are requiring businesses to have a documented prevention plan and a traceability record system in place. We activate it with you in less than 7 days.
Every year, more than 58 million tonnes of food are wasted across Europe.
The good news? It can be reduced.
And you can play an active role in the solution.
From April 2026, Law 1/2025 on the prevention of food loss and waste will require businesses to have a documented prevention plan and a food surplus registration system in place.
We help you comply with the regulation, and in less than 7 days, you will obtain your Revivack Circular Pass®, a badge that guarantees:
👉🏽 A documented Food Waste Prevention Plan.
👉🏽 Traceable redistribution pathways for consumption or recovery.
👉🏽 Real, verifiable data for your ESG reporting
What does the mandatory Food Waste Prevention Plan under Law 1/2025 include?
It is a practical framework designed to help you prevent, plan and demonstrate that the food you prepare does not end up as waste. This plan transforms your daily operations into legal compliance and real traceability. It is structured in three clear levels:
1. PREVENT: Reduce food waste before it happens
The best way to manage surplus is to prevent it from existing. And prevention is simpler than it seems.
Adjust forecasting according to service type (buffet, à la carte, events, room service).
Identify critical points where surplus is generated and implement simple, realistic reduction measures.
Distinguish between production surplus, exposed food, and plate leftovers.
2 PLAN: Define the destination before surplus exists
With this certification, you stop improvising at the end of a service. Planning is the most effective way to revalue your work when surplus occurs.
Define which surplus is suitable for redistribution or recovery (e.g. composting or other pathways).
Identify which waste is not suitable and how it must be managed.
Map the local redistribution or recovery channels available in your geographic area.

3. ACT & TRACE: You don’t just say you do it. You record it
Once everything is planned, implementation becomes straightforward. The difference between good intentions and verifiable management lies in documentation.
Record the destination of approximate surplus quantities (redistribution, recovery, organic management).
Associate basic evidence and maintain a consultable historical record.
Generate reliable data for ESG reporting.
